ENERGEX Community Rescue* helicopters carry a neonatal crib, can transport two stretcher patients at the same time and allow injured children to be accompanied by a family member. Each helicopter is fitted out as a flying emergency room, staffed by highly qualified crew, emergency doctors, nurses and ambulance officers.

The Service owns and operates two aircraft from its Sunshine Coast base: a Kawasaki BK117, VH-BKS, and a Bell Longranger, VH-JOW.
